About Mobius:Mobius is a remote-first digital health company.Our mission is to improve the lives of millions of patients by bringing the communication loop between doctors and patients into the 21st century.We have developed a platform to enable the automatic collection of patient feedback in a frictionless manner, ensuring that every patient's voice gets heard.Our first product is built specifically for Radiologists and allows them to track patient pain levels following guided injection therapy. This allows the systematic identification of a cohort of previously undiagnosed patients who require further treatment.With a recent round of venture funding, we are growing the team and this is a pivotal first hire. This is your chance to get involved in a high growth, high impact medtech startup at an early stage.If you enjoy working with smart and kind people, want to work for a company with a goal to improve peoples' lives and want an opportunity to both grow with a company and shape that company's growth, we want to hear from you.The role:We are looking for a hands-on, Technical Lead to join our small team to help take on our mission to improve the lives of millions of patients by utilising automation and AI.You will be empowered to define our technical direction by bringing your own ideas to the table and to have a critical voice in the direction of both the product and the company.You are a full-stack expert.You have taken apps from conception to deployment, and have experience and opinions on the best technologies to use and why.You should be comfortable implementing new features from scratch, making changes to existing features and writing complex migrations on production data.You should be able to hit the ground running and be able to read code to figure out how it should work, how it currently works, and how best to improve it.You will work directly with the CEO and will act as our technology expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company.What you'll do:- Provide holistic guidance of the company's technical platform with a focus on:- Security and compliance- Interoperability with both internal systems and other vendor services- Translate customer problems into digital solutions.- Maintain and optimise existing code base- Integration and maintenance of data storage solutions with the highest level of security.- Updating and integration of user-facing front end elements.- Contribute to company strategy setting & development of platform roadmap.- Implementing automation wherever possible.What we need from you:- Love of solving problems and building things at scale- Strong understanding and experience of full-stack development (React, Rails)- History of building production applications in AWS environment- Understanding of software engineering best practices (code reviews, source control, build processes, unit testing, etc.)- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar- 4+ years in a Software Engineer role- Strong Communication skills.
