We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Design Manager to join our dynamic team in beautiful Adelaide.
In this pivotal role, you will not only oversee the quality and assurance of both internal and external designs but also inspire and guide your team as a subject matter expert in water infrastructure design.
As the Lead Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of water infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading Design Reviews: Ensure the accuracy and quality of designs through comprehensive reviews that adhere to industry standards and regulations.Primary Point of Contact: Act as the go-to expert for all water infrastructure projects, collaborating seamlessly with internal teams and external stakeholders.Safety, Quality, and Budget Oversight: Maintain high standards of safety and quality while managing project budgets effectively.Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive project success and ensure client satisfaction.The ideal candidate will possess:
A degree in Civil, Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.Experience and project management experience in a design role, particularly with significant exposure to water projects (Desalination).Experience on the client side, especially with local councils or water authorities, is highly valued.In-depth knowledge of the Australian water sector, including relevant regulations and best practices.Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide your team effectively.Competitive hourly rate (ABN or PAYG) that reflects your expertise will be supported in this contract role.
