About the Role EMP CPPM is a new and innovative approach to mine planning for stable, predictable business plan delivery.
EMP CPPM specifically centres on managing the critical paths in execution using a project management approach to reduce variability and increase bottleneck performance, delivering stable mining operations for BMA.
This role is based at our Goonyella Riverside Mine on a Monday – Friday (5:2) roster with some flexible work arrangements available.
Our Enterprise Mining Probabilistic team (EMP) is seeking a Lead CPPM Planner to join a technically motivated and results-driven team.
Working within a core group, this role will be responsible for the development and update of a 150-day schedule and its integration with the annual/forecast and 90-day project plan.
To achieve this, you will be responsible to: Conduct probabilistic evaluation of the schedule and sustain deterministic synchronisation.
Develop a 150-day schedule including physicals and haulage.
Integrate into the rolling 90-day project plan.
Conduct evaluation of options to maintain and accelerate critical path.

About You We have a strong focus on finding individuals with the right values, leadership and communication skills.
Your interpersonal skills will foster collaborative working relationships and your ability to consolidate and analyse information will provide critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude.
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following: Practical mining operational experience.
A proven commitment to safety.
Ability to identify, engage and manage a range of stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
Proficiency using Spry scheduling software would be highly regarded.
