About The RoleAn exciting opportunity exists in the TasNetworks Governance team for a Lead Counsel – Company & Compliance.Located at Lenah Valley in Hobart's Northern Suburbs and reporting to the Executive Governance, the role will support good corporate governance and compliance practice within the TasNetworks Group. Leading the Company Secretariat team, the Lead Counsel – Company & Compliance will ensure the proper functioning of Boards across the TasNetworks Group, ensure good corporate governance is followed, provide sound advice to the Board and management on good practice in corporate governance, support compliance practice and provide compliance advice to the TasNetworks Group to ensure ongoing compliance obligations are met.About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a practicing certificate (or eligibility to obtain a practicing certificate) and at least 5 years' experience of PQE. Leadership experience, company secretary experience and AICD/Governance Institute qualification are preferred.
