Lead Control System Engineer

As partners with key system suppliers and a substantial customer base, we have new requirements to fill automation roles in pharmaceuticals, water, manufacturing, chemical, and infrastructure.RoleReporting to the Directors, you will join our team of lead engineers across the globe while running and growing our local office in Sydney. You would be required to work independently, take on the responsibilities of projects and customers while also supporting and mentoring other team members. The role will be interacting directly with our clients and managing these relationships. You would require a personable attitude, willingness to learn, independence, and strong problem-solving skills to solve and implement control system solutions according to customer requirements.Having a passion for engineering, sales, and people management will be key to making this role successful as it will require the flexibility to cover all the different roles running a business requires.This opportunity's remuneration will depend on experiences and those who feel they have the competency and desire to grow a business should apply.To be considered for this role you should have:Tertiary degree qualified or substantial industry experienceElectrical experience is highly desirablePrevious experience with Siemens PCS7, Step 7, WinCC OA, TIA Portal, and their other products is highly desirablePrevious experience with Rockwell products is highly desirableExperience with other control systems such as Schneider, Yokogawa, Emerson, and Wonderware is also desirableIndustry experience within the process industryDatabase experience is very useful as wellComputer and networking skillsVisual Basic, C Sharp, and C/C++ programming skills
