Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Your future teamWe are looking for a Senior Designer to be a key pillar in the Growth Design team. In this role, you will report into the Design Manager, Growth Platform and join an organization consisting of multiple teams across North America and Australia. As a high level individual contributor, you'll lead strategic growth design work all aiming to deliver a better time to value for our customers. You will partner with other Growth designers and multiple design teams across the company. Together, you will create high quality experiences that feel like they came from one set of hands and communicate a strong point of view. Leading this space means you will focus on expanding our over 250,000 customer base in 190 countries, having direct impact for tens of thousands of customers and millions of users!What you'll doDemonstrate excellence in using experimentation and data-driven design decision-makingAdvocate the importance of designing for growth across the businessWork with product managers, engineering and other partners to define the wider Growth strategyImprove craft quality for all design specializations in your teamBring the perspective and needs of Growth design to larger design strategic projectsContribute to programs outside of Growth design which improve overall design capabilityYour background:7+ years of content design experience designing complex or enterprise-level softwareExperience in creating and delivering content strategy org wide which impact multiple delivery teamsExperience in end-to-end content design outcomes and impactful solutions to challenging problemsPassion for story-telling, the ability to bring design direction to life with compelling narrativeExperience balancing customer needs with business goals, market viability, and technical feasibilityFacilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills: you can demonstrate the ability to integrate the work of multiple teams, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions that lead company wide outcomes and positively influence future delivery roadmaps.Experience in design systems, the ability to identify common content patterns and frameworks required to support a wide array of customer use cases.Experience measuring success with qualitative and quantitative methodsExperience improving process and methodology to increase product value, team velocity and accelerate adoption of new capabilitiesCompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $145,800 - $194,400Zone B: $131,200 - $175,000Zone C: $121,000 - $161,400This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.Atlassian offers a variety of perks and benefits to support you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
