Lead Consultant - Workday Integration And Data

Lead Consultant - Workday Integration and Data Kliqtek is seeking a candidate who preferably holds Workday integration certification as a primary qualification, along with additional certifications such as Workday Studio and Core Connectors, and knowledge in data conversion.
This role will involve overseeing the design, implementation, and management of integrations between Workday and various third-party systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, experience with Workday integration tools, and a solid understanding of data migration and conversion practices.
Additionally, the candidate should have been involved in at least three or more end-to-end Workday implementations.

This role requires a blend of Workday integration knowledge and expertise in data conversion.
You will primarily leverage your extensive Workday expertise and consulting skills to design and develop integration solutions that meet our customers' business needs.
Additionally, we expect the consultant to possess strong skills and a solid understanding of data conversion and migration.
You will apply your technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities to effectively guide customers through their digital transformation journey.

Qualifications & Experience
Certifications: Active Workday Integration & Data Certifications Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Experience: Minimum of 4 -7 years of experience with Workday Integration & Data Services, with a strong background in consulting, software development and solution delivery.
Should have minimum of 4 full Workday implementation lifecycle experience Technical Skills: Proficiency in Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core connectors, Workday Web Services, XSLT, PECI, PICOF and reporting.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and other relevant technologies Work Management Skill: Demonstrates the ability to self-manage and oversee others effectively.
Works independently while meeting tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
Skilled in team management and adept at delegating responsibilities to ensure a balanced workload for all team members.
Project Management: Demonstrated experience delivering integration projects, with a proven track record of successful outcomes on time and budget Consulting Skills: Strong client-facing skills with the ability to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a supportive, collaborative and results-driven work environment Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely Role Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Assume overall responsibility for the Workday integration workstream.
Engaging in the project discovery phase to assist in planning the strategy, scope, and timelines for the integration rollout.
Lead end-to-end Workday integration projects, covering scoping, planning, execution, testing and delivery, while ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and within budget Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, technical architects, and client stakeholders, to deliver cohesive and effective solutions.
Showcase strong leadership skills with a history of managing and developing high-performing teams.
Oversee the team's overall workload and make necessary adjustments to ensure effective management.
Provide mentorship to junior team members as needed, while also managing their tasks efficiently Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday integration capabilities, offering guidance to clients and junior consultants on best practices, potential risks, and integration strategies.
Proactively work with relevant teams to address complex issues that may involve functional, data, or process changes.
Additionally, possess a strong understanding of Workday data conversion processes and demonstrate proficiency in using EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders) or similar data conversion tools Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate the effective translation of technical information for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Capable of building and maintaining relationships at all organisational levels, establishing credibility while ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the customer's perspective by identifying pain points and proactively sharing these insights with project leads Integration Design and Development: Be heavily involved in integration discovery and design sessions.
Collaborate with the client's IT team to develop the future systems architecture, ensuring a clear understanding of the client's current integration landscape while assisting in the design of the future state.
Create integration designs that align with the proposed architecture.
Demonstrate proficiency in various integration tools, including Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIBs.
Possess in-depth knowledge of PECI and PICOF integrations, as well as expertise in XSLT and XTT coding for file transformations.
Have a strong understanding of REST APIs and Web Services, especially in the context of Workday integrations, and demonstrate proficiency in developing custom reports Data Migration: Participate in the planning of the data migration strategy.
Assist with data migration projects, focusing on data mapping, cleansing, and validation to ensure accurate and efficient transfers into Workday Quality Assurance: Lead the establishment of quality assurance controls by creating a comprehensive checklist for quality delivery.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of integration deliverables through thorough testing and validation to meet client expectations Testing and Validation: Engage in the testing strategy and provide valuable input.
Plan and assist the client with their testing initiatives as required Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to enhance integration development and delivery by leveraging technology effectively.
Recommend and implement process improvements that boost operational efficiency and support the client's business strategy Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest Workday updates and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings and client outcomes Documentation: Lead the team in identifying reusable project assets, such as test scripts, XSLT codes, and user guides, when relevant.
