Role overview Due to our growing client base and project workload, an exciting opportunity has opened within our Heavy Industry Team.
We are seeking an experienced procurement consultant to manage client relationships as well as our internal project delivery teams, and to lead the delivery of high complexity projects with the aim of ensuring service levels and deliverables meet client expectations.
The role will be based in Perth with travel to client offices interstate and operations in regional areas.
Role responsibilities Complete cost reduction opportunity assessments Lead delivery teams as the Project Manager, and be responsible for the team's performance in meeting client expectations Lead multiple high complexity projects and be responsible for projects being delivered to agreed timelines, and outcomes meeting client expectations Contribute to the strategic direction of the company Support Partners of the business in sales and business development Contribute to the high performing, flexible, and inclusive team culture.
About you Over 3+ years of procurement experience for large mining or heavy industry companies Background in consulting, focusing on procurement strategies and processes Experience managing large, complex tenders with multiple stakeholders Advanced skills in developing major services scopes of work Ability to interpret data and quickly identify opportunities Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Advanced meeting management and negotiation skills Exceptional communication and presentation skills Personable and can build rapport with stakeholders quickly Desire to have a career path in procurement consulting within a specialist firm.
