Role Location: Docklands Role Type: Permanent, Full-time What will your day look like; ? As a Chef, you will be responsible for the planning, overall management, and execution of retail café in Melbourne Docklands'.
With a focus on delivering a high-quality retail experience, this role will be hands on.
You will be part of a high-quality hospitality team working together across both front and back of house areas to deliver a memorable retail experience.
What will you bring?
To be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following: A qualified chef with at least 5 years' experience in high quality hospitality venues Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and service peers.
Strong experience in retail locations.
Drive innovation, follow and adopt culinary trends Demonstrated leadership and experience in being part of professional team Requirement to collaborate with and manage industry third party providers to deliver outcomes Strong financial knowledge to run a cost-effective outlet Experience in contract management of hospitality service partners Exceptional team leading qualities and experience Food Safety Supervisor Reporting directly to TWG onsite lead, you will be responsible for day-to-day running of the retail outlet.
Your key responsibilities will include: Establishing and sustaining productive relationships with key client contacts Day to day production and oversight of all food produced and served.
Production of a monthly changing food concept.
Financial and operational management of the kitchens, including all compliance requirements Ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity Recruiting, inducting, and training staff as required Managing staffing requirements and rosters Follows company procedures and policy when handling employee grievances or undertaking disciplinary actions Stock Management – ordering & replenishing stock Supervises and co-ordinates kitchen and front of house staff Ensure your workplace is operated according to safe work procedures, effectively maintained.
