As the Lead Carpenter for JLH Response Carpentry, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting construction projects in the Adelaide area. What you'll be doing Lead and oversee a team of carpenters to ensure the successful completion of construction projectsCarry out complex carpentry tasks such as installing cabinets, framing walls, and finishing timber workLiaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budgetInspect work to ensure it meets all relevant building codes and safety standardsProvide guidance and training to junior members of the carpentry teamContribute to the development of project plans and timelinesMaintain a safe and organised work environmentWhat we're looking for Extensive experience as a qualified carpenter, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industryProven track record of leading and managing a team of carpentersStrong technical skills and knowledge of carpentry techniques and building codesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret construction plans and drawingsA commitment to safety and quality workmanshipA valid driver's licence and reliable transportationWhat we offer
