Working closely with the Head of Refugee Leadership and Advocacy, you'll develop and execute dynamic campaign strategies focused on inclusivity, with the goal of changing perspectives and advancing specific policy goals. By utilising creative approaches and building partnerships, you'll engage and mobilise communities across online and offline platforms.About YouWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Campaigner to join our team.A track record in developing and implementing campaign strategies against measurable targetsDemonstrated experience in campaign communications and developing key messages in a political contextExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to create engaging contentStrong experience across social media and communications, with demonstrated experience using and maximising social mediaEffective project and time management skills, including the ability to meet competing deadlines and be adaptive in a rapidly changing environmentKnowledge of the policy context of practice with asylum seekers visa categories/conditions, and the barriers faced by people seeking asylum in AustraliaLived experience of seeking asylum in Australia is highly desirable.Knowledge of policy and issues impacting on people seeking asylum in Australia as well as previous experience working within a not-for-profit environment, would also be advantageous.Employee BenefitsJoining the ASRC means being a part of the largest human rights organisation in Australia, supporting refugees and people seeking asylum.
