This project is an improvement programme focused on uplifting the connection experience for our customers and industry partners who wish to establish a connection to our electricity distribution network. As the Lead Business Analyst in our Reimagining Customer Connections Project, you will be accountable for providing the team with expert knowledge and advice on business unit processes and products / services to help identify and assess business problems/opportunities while proposing solutions that meet the project requirements. Enrich your career with real people who encourage you to bring your best in a role that will see you as a critical member of the project team where you will work with stakeholders to define, analyse, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. With a Hybrid split , this role is based in Southbank and is part of the Reimagining Customer Connections Project Team in Network Operations. This role is a fixed term contract role for 12 months. This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Articulate overarching business objectives, process and business requirements (functional and non-functional) for the project. Provide design and thought leadership to other Business Analysts both internal and external. Analyse and model data and processes to generate insights (issues/opportunities) and recommend business process improvement opportunities to deliver against project objectives Contribute to identification and design realisation of project business benefits by measuring process improvements (eg timing) or other cost/benefit analysis Support the various piloting efforts performed throughout the project (eg process pilots, technical testing) Contribute to the development of future operating models to support the end to end customer connections processes. Contribute to development of business policy and procedures and/or training material to ensure successful implementation of business change Preparing and presenting written reports (eg business requirements specifications) Identify and build strong relationships with key customers / stakeholders across different locations, levels (management & end users) and business functions to solicit requirements Analysing business & Customer user issues and critical complaints and facilitating key stakeholder agreement on effective solutions. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Experience in a similar role in Consulting or Energy Sector with a strong background in project management of business and digital improvements relating to delivery of connection related services to customers. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and lead work pieces to successfully deliver business outcomes High level of consulting, influencing interpersonal and communication skills and driven to achieve results Ability to take ownership of tasks as allocated, to see them through to delivery Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills Demonstrated commercial, business and customer focus Proven ability to proactively identify, resolve and (where appropriate) escalate issues   A real place to belong  We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
