You will own the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the team owned product and platforms as well as owning the growth and development of an engineering team. You will be empowered to make independent decisions for the team and partner effectively with product, and other teams in the business area. As a tech lead, you will write code represent the team, review and plan for feature deliveries, deal with the details of project management and help the developers in their careers.

Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organisation and have a desire to mentor less experienced membersExperience leading a project from inception to productionStrong background in Java; any other language is also a plusSolid knowledge in building scalable, maintainable and low latency web applicationsExperience on refactoring large code bases and sunsetting applicationsExperience tackling complex bug fixesSolid knowledge in software design, object orientation and web applicationsComputer science education or equivalent experience.
