Lead Auditor(s) for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - Contractor role

Position Purpose: The role of a Lead Auditor in the NDIS is crucial for ensuring that service providers deliver high-quality, compliant services that meet the needs of people with disabilities and adhere to the standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assess NDIS providers against the NDIS Practice StandardsEvaluate documents and processes for compliance with quality requirements.Collect, synthesise, and analyse evidence to make findings and recommendations.Develop audit plans and audit schedules.Lead quality audits (and direct and support other quality auditors when required)Assist clients to identify opportunities for improvement.Collate reports from the auditors and ensure this work meets the NDIS Practice Standards.Prepare accurate and timely audit reports to inform recommendations to the NDIS Commission.Assist other quality auditors and share information for the purpose of ensuring knowledge transfer and consistency of understanding regarding the applicable standards, procedures, and organisational goals.Contribute to the client experience by working with schedulers, CXO's, Technical Reviewers and other key stakeholders.Skills and Experience: Extensive experience in audits within an approved AQA for NDIS.Must have an eye for detail and firsthand experience with auditing processes, tools, and reports.Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills.Must be able to work well with people at all levels of the organization.Successful completion of an auditor or lead auditor's course. As a minimum, these courses should meet the requirements of the BSBSS00128 Lead Auditor Skill Set, or the competency standards BSBAUD411 Participate in quality audits; BSBAUD511 Initiate quality audits; BSBAUD512 Lead quality audits; BSBAUD513 Report on quality auditsNDIS AQA Training (must have completed training - no sponsorships available)Ability to travel if required (preference given to candidates that can travel for onsite assessments).Ideally a minimum of two (2) years of lead auditing experience.How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.
