About the role As a Lead Application Developer, you need to manage and deliver a CAD project delivery team within a customer site.
Management of technical and development resources.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities Management of a software development and software configuration team across a project, delivering a mission critical software solution utilizing modern effective methodologies and processes.
Responsible for management and implementation of all parts of the SDLC including ongoing support of delivered solution.
Management of agile delivery teams priorities, release, change, test and environment management, including leadership of the agile processes and governance.
Implement and deliver fit for purpose software and process documentation in accordance with specifications.
Drive and facilitate customer workshops and interaction to collect and document solution requirements.
Responsible for the management and delivery of software fixes and releases against varying SLAs across multiple sites and managed services.
Think outside the box to enhance the key team processes.
Participation in the 24/7 on call support roster Requirements and Experience Technical Essential: Knowledge of modern architectural principles and methods.
Deep level of understanding in software development technologies.
.NET/C# development experience Managed a delivery team using agile methodologies, tooling and processes Experience in delivering highly available, high resilience, mission critical systems.
CI/CD experience.
Highly desirable Azure DevOps pipelines JIRA/Confluence administration experience Experience in a Public Safety environment.
Non-Technical Configuration, Release, Change and Environment management Incident and Defect management Personnel Management Personal Attributes Ability to handle stressful situations Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure Ability to work productively and harmoniously in a team mob-programming environment.
Effective communication and client/vendor communication skills Ability to manage the time and priorities of yourself and a highly agile team across several separate concerns A want to achieve more.
