Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play an integral part of our overall new business strategy.
This role will have you working closely on pricing & commercial terms for tenders and ensure commercial viability of tenders and re-signs.
Operating within a highly dynamic commercial team, opportunities for long term career are plentiful.
Key responsibilities include: Managing a team of 2 analysts in a supportive and collaborative work environmentWorking closely with Executives and Senior decision makersCollaborating with the Sales, Category and Implementation teams to optimise sales and profitable strategies and outcomesDriving process efficiencies and innovation in bidding, price increases, reviews, re-signs, and static cataloguesConducting key pricing analysis, working effectively with key business counterparts, to provide insight on pricing and margin profitabilityInvolvement in the product strategy, including product selection, pricing and commercialsDeveloping a competitive matrix – market intel, blind spots, strengths / weaknessesEnsuring commercial viability of tenders and re-signsDriving margin improvements and cost to serve efficiencies across COS customer baseMore about you You are a strategic thinker who has strong business acumen and an affinity for numbers.
Curious and results oriented, you focus on the big picture perspective and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
To be considered for the role, you will have: Strong market understanding ideally with knowledge in FMCG and B2B environments and pricing analyticsPrevious experience in product selection, pricing and product strategyPrevious experience in managing a teamDemonstrated experience with profit drivers and cost based analysisExperience with analysis of Value and Price Impact differentialsHigh attention to detailPassion for problem solvingCustomer centricity and high level of adaptabilityExperience in influencing and negotiating with various senior internal stakeholdersMore about COS When you join COS you'll be working for a growing business servicing many of Australia's most well recognised companies and government agencies.
