Lawyers or Associates - Dispute Resolution Permanent full-time positions

We have two opportunities for experienced lawyers to join our growing Dispute Resolution ( DR ) section in Melbourne, working with a highly regarded team of leading partners and lawyers.
Our Melbourne team is part of our national and well-established DR Section, with over 100 team members nationally working across all facets of commercial dispute resolution and litigation, including commercial and contractual disputes, banking and financial services litigation, corporate insolvency, public sector, property and construction disputes, regulatory investigations and tax disputes.
The successful candidates will be involved in a wide range of corporate and commercial litigation matters, including:
Advising on high profile and complex commercial litigation matters;
Negotiation and alternative dispute resolution;
Drafting pleadings and court documents, preparation of evidence, and briefing and instructing counsel;
Corporate insolvency and bankruptcy matters, including acting and advising insolvency practitioners, directors, financial institutions in various claims and actions arising under security agreements, the Corporations Act or the Bankruptcy Act;
Advising on complex debt, consumer law, contract, corporations law, equity, real property and regulatory investigations;
Working across industries, including financial services, government, health, infrastructure, IT, mining, pharmaceutical, property, retail and transport;
About you
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
Between 2 and 4 years of post-admission experience in Australia is essential;
Previous experience in general commercial litigation/disputes, with either an interest in insolvency or experience working on insolvency matters, ideally from a large or medium-sized law firm or a specialist litigation practice;
Strong communication and drafting skills, with outstanding attention to detail;
The ability to confidently run matters through dispute resolution processes;
The ability to handle a busy workload with competing timelines.
