We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to Associate to join our Government Public & Regulatory team in Adelaide working with Michael La Vista.
About the team and the work You will be acting for a range of Commonwealth clients and licensees, providing advice on statutory classes of insurance and administrative law in one of the largest and most highly regarded Government teams in the country.
This is a challenging role where you will have the opportunity to advise the Commonwealth on a diverse range of matters in a fast-paced environment.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in regular advocacy work in Federal Courts and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in strategic litigation and claims management advice, focussing on matters of liability, quantum and settlement prospects.

About you You will have 1 – 5 years post-admission experience, ideally in Litigation.
Administrative / Public law with merits and judicial review exposure is highly regarded.
The successful candidate will have a solid grounding and demonstrated interest in Administrative Law.
Ideally you will have advocacy experience in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and / or the Federal Courts, however candidates who have a keen interest in developing their skills in this area will be considered.
