Curtin Law School is looking for an experienced lawyer to join its Practical Legal Training (PLT) team.
The role will involve PLT teaching delivery, course administration and/or leadership.
Responsibilities will include curriculum design including innovative assessment, facilitating a bridge between academia and the legal profession.
The role may also interface with the John Curtin Law Clinic within Curtin Law School, including developing a PLT clinical pathway.

Essential Requirements of the Role: High-level teaching skills and a reflective approach to teaching delivery or demonstrable capacity of the same.
A strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline or demonstrable capacity of the same.
An emerging record of contribution to scholarship in teaching or demonstrable capacity of the same.
Experience/capacity to undertake unit coordination.
High-level communication and interpersonal and organisational skills with a commitment to the development and leadership of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross cultural sensitivity.
Commitment to the application of relevant and applicable policies, procedures and legislation in the day-to-day performance of Practical Legal Training.
