The Team
The insurance litigation team at the firm are a trusted advisor to both Australian and international insurers. They provide a range of services, including claims management, litigation, and regulatory guidance.
The Role
Due to a few significant matters on foot, our client is seeking an experienced litigation lawyer to join their Sydney team for a short-term period to assist with a surge in their current workload. This opportunity will report into the Partner of the practice area.
You will have:
Broad litigation experience (advisory, mediation, hearings, and litigation).Strong technical and drafting skills.Effectively translate strategic direction.Excellent communication skills at all levels.Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.Well-developed negotiation skills and strong attention to detail.On offer is an excellent culture, flexible working arrangements, and a great opportunity for those seeking an interim role.
Requirements
To be successful, you will be a talented lawyer at the Senior Associate level with 5+ years post-admission experience in insurance & litigation law gained working within a litigation practice team.
Ideally, you will also have experience in the defence of complex claims and/or investigations.
