The successful candidate will enjoy working across a diverse range of legally challenging and factually complex matters in the Government sector, including:Coronial inquiriesDefending claims for negligence against doctors, nurses, hospitals, and medical centres; andGathering medical evidence, investigating liability, and assessing quantum of the claim.This role presents a fantastic opportunity to progress your career within a team that is renowned for its collaborative culture, passion for client service and professional development opportunities.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will have:A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current New South Wales practising certificateMinimum 1 years' post admission experience in defendant medical negligence litigation and coronial inquestsExperience running litigated matters across a variety of jurisdictionsClient facing experience with the ability to understand and manage client needsA commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectivelyExcellent technical skills and the ability to manage a busy workload; andWhat We OfferIn return, McCabes will provide you with the opportunity to work with a talented team in a flexible, inclusive, and innovative environment.
