About the Role
Location: Newcastle
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
We're seeking a recently admitted lawyer to join our dynamic Hunter Personal Injury law team in Newcastle.
You'll work on Plaintiff Personal Injury matters, including Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents and Public Liability claims.
You'll enjoy extensive client interaction and benefit from our collaborative workplace culture with flexible work arrangements.
Your success will be measured by:
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Direct client liaison and providing accurate, timely advice
Preparation of court documents, evidence, orders, and correspondence
Attending court, dispute resolution, and settlements
Conducting legal research
What We're Looking For:
1-2 years' experience in Personal Injury/Litigation Law (essential)
Valid NSW Practising Certificate
Understanding of personal injury matters and processes
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and handle matters with sensitivity
Strong negotiation, mediation and advocacy skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong client relationship and business development skills
Ability to prioritise work and manage competing deadlines
