Our ClientOur client is a boutique law firm focused on rights and responsibilities associated with land and resources. They assist clients to make well-informed decisions about their land and protect or utilize the associated rights.The RoleAre you a Native Title Lawyer looking to join a vibrant and diverse legal practice? Our client is seeking a talented Senior Lawyer to join the team in Brisbane, with a permanent role offering a competitive salary range of AUD120,000.00 ++ (more neg. dep on experience) + super + benefits + bonuses.If you have 3+ years or more experience in native title law, along with a passion for travel and a willingness to engage with clients, then we want to hear from you.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of native title matters, including claims, future acts, PBC advisory, and negotiation of future act matters. You will also be advising PBCs on compliance, governance, strategic planning, and economic development. Additionally, there will be a focus on litigation work, providing you with exposure to a variety of intricate legal cases.If you are someone who values collegiality, wants to work in a supportive and engaging environment, and is open to occasional travel, then our client's firm is the place for you.Key Responsibilities: Contribute to a vibrant native title practice, engaging in claims, future acts, PBC advisory, and negotiation of future act matters.Travel to engage with clients in Queensland, with potential expansion into other states.Work alongside a supportive team, engaging in strategic planning, economic development, compliance, and governance matters.Preferred Requirements:3-5 years or more of experience in native title law.Ability and willingness to travel and engage with clients in different locations.Experience in advising PBCs on compliance, governance, strategic planning, and economic development.Exposure to litigation work, including claims and PBC client matters.Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively within a supportive team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Admission (or eligible) as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland.Relevant tertiary qualifications in law.Experience in negotiating and advising on future act matters.APPLY or FOR MORE INFORMATIONFor a confidential chat about this role, please get in touch with Rachel Townes-Vigh at / . #J-18808-Ljbffr
