Your role:
Join the Army's proficient and quick-thinking legal team as a Lawyer.
In this role, you'll become well-versed in a stimulating mix of disciplines.
The fields you'll work in include disciplinary, administrative, operations, civil and commercial law as well as handling legal aid requirements.
You'll also be trained to lead and mentor a team of passionate lawyers, motivating them to succeed in their work.
The fields of military legal practice are interchanging and expanding.

Throughout your career, you'll be able to advance your skillset with short courses and additional qualifications.

Salary:
In the Army you'll get paid a highly competitive salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications; and your pay increases as you progress through training.
On completion of your initial military and employment training, you could earn $105,076 per annum plus a generous super.

For this role, you must be admitted as a Barrister and/or Solicitor of the High Court of Australia, or of the Supreme Court of a State or Territory of Australia.
Preference is given to candidates with more than 18 months of Solicitor experience.
You must be an Australian citizen and able to successfully obtain a security clearance.
