We have a permanent full-time Solicitor and Associate position (1-4 years PAE) currently available within our Disputes and Investigations team.

Working with leading Partners and Lawyers in their field, you will gain valuable exposure to a range of different matters and clients and work as part of a dynamic team environment.

The group works in the areas of banking and commercial litigation and corporate and personal insolvency and represents local and national clients.
The team delivers proven strategic and commercial outcomes to long-standing and new clients through the application of comprehensive legal, forensic, investigative, and evidentiary skills.

Responsibilities: Provide advice and management of secured recovery matters; Assist in negotiations with other parties; Draft a wide range of documents and correspondence, including: Court documents and pleadings; Letters of demand and breach notices; Deeds of Settlement and Forbearance; Prepare briefs to Counsel, instruct Counsel and assist with mediation; Appear in Court, including preparing submissions; Have responsibility for your own files (under supervision and guidance) with direct client relationship management.
About You: 1 – 4 years post admission experience in a law firm; Demonstrated experience in either banking or commercial litigation; A team player who relishes the opportunity to develop your career and use your initiative; Strong communicator, both verbally and written; Ability to quickly build rapport with clients and other stakeholders; Proven ability to manage files; Proactive in progressing matters to completion.
