The roleThis is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our market-leading Commercial Litigation practice under Partners Scott Grahame and Jonathan Slater.You will join a high performing and collaborative team, and enjoy the opportunity to work with other Partners and Lawyers across the practice. Your clients will include prominent, ASX-listed and international corporates and institutional clients.In this role, you will act on complex commercial litigation matters in a range of areas, including investigations undertaken by Australian regulatory bodies, including ASIC and ACCC enforcement actions, commissions of enquiry and investigations, and class action disputes. This role will see you having day to day management of matters, drafting correspondence, preparing advice, preparing evidence, liaising with counsel and assisting with the preparation of final and interlocutory proceedings.Skills & ExperienceBetween 2-4 years' experience as a LawyerCompleted a Graduate program at a leading law firmCommercial litigation, contentious and regulatory experienceStrong academic achievementsFamiliarity with Supreme / Federal Court litigationThrive in an environment that values independence balanced with a collaborative approach, initiative, and a strong work ethicA strong focus on delivering exceptional client serviceHighly developed interpersonal and communication skills, required for building effective client relationships and contributing to a positive team environmentThe Commercial Litigation Practice GroupThe Clayton Utz Litigation and Dispute Resolution team forms a top-tier commercial litigation practice, the largest in Australia.
