Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 1000+ employees Ensure compliance with statutory requirements Interpretation, testing and application of modern awards and payroll system configurations Prepare forms and reports in relation to payroll deductions Coach and lead the Payroll team (currently 2) Evaluations and enhancement of payroll processes Maintain and update payroll and time & attendance rules Liaising with internal and external stakeholders To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous to have:
At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role At least 3+ years of experience leading a team of payroll professionals Strong communication and interpretation skills Experience using software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Sound knowledge around Industrial Awards and Agreements If this opportunity sounds like a role you'd excel in, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
