Employment & Commercial Senior Associate The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Associate with expertise in employment law , complemented by experience in commercial work , litigation , or dispute resolution .
This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal role, working across both advisory and contentious employment matters while contributing to the growth of a well-regarded specialist firm.

Your Responsibilities:
Drafting and negotiating senior-level employment contracts, including CEO and executive agreements.
Representing clients in Fair Work Commission disputes such as unfair dismissal and adverse action claims.
Advising on employment law aspects of M&A transactions, including employee due diligence.
Providing risk management advice and delivering tailored client training on employment law issues.
Leading and developing the employment law practice within the firm's established client base.
Billables:
On average, the target is five billable hours per day .
However, the firm values quality work and client outcomes over strict adherence to billable hour targets, ensuring a balanced and flexible working environment.

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who brings:
5+ years post-admission experience with strong expertise in employment law .
A mix of front-end and back-end employment experience, including advisory and disputes work.
Additional expertise in commercial law , litigation , or dispute resolution .
A proactive, energetic approach and a passion for growing a practice.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with large and established clients.
