The Position We are looking for talented law graduates to join our team. We have positions available for those with a long-term desire to work in the Mackay region.
You will begin your training with client contact from day one. You will receive mentoring and training from a variety of senior employees and you will actively assist the practice with its marketing and business development activities.
We will provide you with the opportunity to rotate into other areas of our firm (including our commercial and/or litigation teams) allowing you to sample different practice areas, including family law, criminal law, local government, commercial conveyancing, rural law, commercial litigation, or business law.
You will also have the opportunity to join our other graduates and junior lawyers in various professional development training sessions and social events.
About You To join our team you will need to be a natural 'people person' and will possess the following:
Excellent problem-solving skills;Excellent written and oral communication skills;The ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads;A mature and confident manner.The Location Based in regional Mackay, you will enjoy the relaxing lifestyle that the tropical North has to offer, with the Whitsunday Islands and national parks within easy reach. Mackay is easily accessible both for visitors and those who enjoy weekend getaways, with direct flights to Brisbane each day.
