We are currently seeking a driven, highly organised and experienced paralegal or law clerk to join our team.
In this role, you will work closely with one of our solicitors, to provide support in a variety of legal and administrative tasks in a collaborative and supportive environment.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Exceptional Organisational Skills: Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple urgent deadlines with efficiency.Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.Procedural Understanding: Understanding of court processes, procedures and practices will be highly regarded.Experience or Interest: Demonstrated experience in family law, crime, and wills and estates, or a genuine enthusiasm for the fields.Teamwork: Ability to work closely in tandem with one of our solicitors, to assist with timely completion of tasks, including filing documents, obtaining client information and organisation of dates and deadlines. Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and composed phone manner.Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and ideally familiar with LEAP or similar legal management software.Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and other parties.Problem-Solving Abilities: Effective in identifying issues and developing practical solutions.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected challenges with ease. About the Role: If your application is successful, your responsibilities will include:
Effectively managing and tracking multiple deadlines, proactively confirming appointments, and ensuring all actions are completed on time.Overseeing diary and email management.Reading, drafting, proofing and filing court documents such as affidavits, case outlines, application, and other documents as required. Drafting correspondence and coordinating with the court, other parties, and clients. Attending client conferences to record notes and provide support as required.Organising and maintaining case files with impeccable attention to detail.Handling phone inquiries professionally and efficiently.Updating document templates and reviewing relevant legislation as required.Providing general paralegal and clerical support, and performing additional tasks as required.Benefits: The successful applicant will enjoy the following benefits:
