Territory Laundry Services (TLS) is a locally owned and operated business that prides itself on delivering the best in market, high-quality service to our customers.
We have had 10 years of continued growth to become a multi-million-dollar business with 40+ staff.
We work in the commercial linen solutions market providing services to accommodation establishments, Defence, the Inpex facility, large scale mining camps and many other customers.
We have built our business through delivering a high-quality service on time, every time, whilst fostering strong relationships with our customers.We are looking for an experienced Manager who will care about our business, team and customers just as much we do.
We are looking for a passionate Manager who will play a pivotal role in our business, taking responsibility for the operational management of the laundry.
This includes, but is not limited to:Maintaining the appropriate staffing levels/mix and management of team to achieve operational requirements.Meeting efficiency targets and providing daily/weekly key performance indicators.Communication with customers to ensure adequate par levels are maintained at their site and within the laundry.Ensure equipment cleaning/maintenance procedures are carried out daily and ad-hoc organisation of contractors for machinery breakdowns.Work within the production environment - on the laundry floor to understand/fix issues and fill in where needed.To be successful in this role you must have the following attributes:Eye for detail and ability to understand the importance of each component/contribution to the overall production line.Good at managing a team to achieve desired outcomes.Consistent, reliable and accountable.Ability to deal positively with change.Strong communicator, good at coaching/explaining, good problem solver.Ability to learn, embrace and manage company procedures & processes consistently.As a small business, this role is hands-on and requires you to contribute in all areas including working on the floor and on occasions supporting the driving team (linen deliveries/collections).Therefore, it is a physical role which can be challenging for some in the heat that is unique to Darwin.It is desirable that the person has prior experience in the industry; however, if you have the right attributes, this is not a must.
TLS is willing to invest in upskilling the right person with training.This is a long-term pivotal position for our business and part of our Leadership team, where the right person will have the opportunity to help grow the business and be involved in strategic decision making.In return, you will be fairly remunerated based on your experience and will work side by side with the owners who have a genuine care and passion for the business.
