To ensure The Star delivers the full complement of luxury standards, we have dedicated departments that service our guests every need, one of our busiest and hardest working departments is our full-service laundry. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play an essential role in operating various machinery to process the cleaning of staff uniforms and guest dry cleaning.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of both our valued guests as well as our team.
A few of your responsibilities: Sorting, processing and folding of uniforms, clothing garments and linensSafely operate and monitor the use of various pieces of equipment throughout the cleaning processMaintain a clean, organised and efficient laundry facilityEnsure the prompt return of guests drycleaning and team members uniformsWhat we are looking for: Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a physically demanding roleDry cleaning or commercial laundry experience is preferred but not essentialAbility to work both independently and as part of large teamFlexibility to work across a 24/7 rosterAbout you: With your meticulous attention to detail and your can-do attitude, you are poised to excel in this role.
