In leading the small and dynamic team, you will support existing and new clients by developing their projects across a broad range of technologies. In particular, the work will support our clients in their contribution to the Energy Transition and therefore you will have a keen interest or experience in emerging decommissioning markets such as offshore wind and onshore related decommissioning.As Late Life & Decommissioning Divisional Manager for APAC, you will be part of the APAC Leadership Team for Xodus and help develop strategy and execute initiatives, thereby driving the company towards its goals in the region.Overall Purpose of the RoleReporting to the Vice President of APAC, your primary responsibility is to ensure the successful award and commercial delivery of late-life and decommissioning projects across the APAC region. This role will have a strong link to Xodus' other disciplines and divisions, in particular Energy Developments, Environment, Subsea and Process and Facilities. You will be accountable for the strategic direction of the Late Life & Decommissioning team in APAC, which must align with the Xodus 5 Year Vision and strategy for the APAC region, whilst recognising the changing needs of the energy industries in an energy transitioning world.Within your division you will be responsible for the recruitment, performance and development of personnel aligned with the strategic goals of the team and the company. You will also be responsible for the allocation of personnel to assignments that best meet the needs of the projects, and the development needs of the personnel.You will be directly responsible for the techno-commercial success of projects where you are the nominated Project Manager.Primary ResponsibilitiesDeliver Xodus Group KPI's by providing strategic direction and technical leadership for the Late Life & Decommissioning team in APAC, being a key contributing member of the APAC leadership team, and ownership of the Decommissioning team P&L and delivery of the APAC budget.Fully accountable for identifying, winning, and executing Late Life & Decommissioning projects in APAC.Key contributing member of the APAC leadership team through collaborative working, integration across disciplines and hubs.Support the business development plans for the Late Life Decommissioning team and region including identifying business opportunities, leading, and supporting proposal tendering, and promoting excellent client relationships.Manage the recruitment, allocation, performance, and development of personnel in your team in line with current and future capability needs and building a diverse and inclusive team.Role model for the team behaviours that embody the company values of trust, responsibility and excellence and promote an inclusive culture.Ensure that all legislative and HSEQ procedures and standards are applied to provide a consistent, safe, and secure environment for all Xodus personnel, clients, and stakeholders.Review and approve tender proposals in line with Xodus' contract management procedure.RequirementsSkills and AttributesAbility to support the Late Life Decommissioning team as a leader in the field.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey the company's competencies, vision and values to internal and external stakeholders and clients.Value diversity, equity and inclusion and have proven ability in building a strong team culture.Have the flexibility to adapt to varying assignments at short notice or to be undertaken at the same time.Committed to being client focused, always seeking to exceed expectations.Able to collaborate effectively with team members, peers, supervisors, and clients.Qualifications and ExperienceDegree qualified in a relevant engineering or environment discipline.Experience 15+ years.Sound technical and commercial understanding of energy related late life/decommissioning projects.Demonstrated experience and capabilities in decommissioning technologies, decommissioning topics, and overall regulatory landscape in decommissioning.Strong understanding of decommissioning policy, regulatory position and all other regulatory aspects relating to decommissioning projects.Track record in leading the delivery of assignments with successful techno-commercial outcomes.Experience in the supervision and development of a team with a strong team culture.Our Commitment to Diversity & InclusionXodus is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive culture whereby everyone has a strong sense of belonging and can be themselves at work.
