The successful candidate for the role of Laser Engineer is expected to undertake laser design, assembly, alignment, testing, and maintenance. Writing technical documentation and reporting is also part of the routine.
Duties will include:
Development of new laser subsystems;Contribute to the instrumentation of cutting-edge opto-electronics subsystems;Combine novel technologies or concepts to support the innovation and development of EOS IP;Support the Engineering team, undertake and document investigative experiments to inform the company's research activities.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You
We are looking for someone who can collaborate in a highly-paced environment and is a problem solver with attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and a forward thinker. A person should be able to demonstrate the following:
Bachelor's degree in Physics/Engineering or a related field.Minimum 2 years' experience with bulk solid-state and/or laser systems.Experience with the alignment and operation of Class 4 lasers, pulsed and CW.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.How to Apply
