This pivotal role involves leading the Residential Care Rostering team and implementing an integrated workforce planning capability. You will be responsible for delivering operational excellence through reliable resource capacity and demand forecasting, real-time monitoring, rostering optimisation, process governance, and associated reporting. The position requires collaboration with key stakeholders to develop and maintain operational resource plans and to anticipate current and future workforce needs.Develop and implement workforce planning strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.Manage quarterly care minute reviews and update workload planners.Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and industry standards.Continuously review and improve rostering processes, systems, and practices.Lead and develop a high-performing rostering team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.Manage relationships with third-party labour providers and ensure accurate time and attendance reporting for payroll processing.PersonThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in workforce and resource planning, particularly within the residential aged care or public health sector. You will demonstrate compassion, empathy, and the ability to build meaningful relationships. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate teams and manage performance, are essential.
