Good Shepherd College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to inspire a love of languages among primary school students. This part-time role involves teaching engaging Spanish lessons to students Prep to Year 6, fostering both linguistic skills and cultural awareness.
As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment that prioritizes creativity, collaboration, and student success.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The key duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities and learning styles.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the Victorian and Australian Curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to participate and engage with the Spanish language and culture.
Assess and provide feedback on student progress in line with school policies.
Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance language learning across the school.
Promote cultural awareness and appreciation for Spanish-speaking countries through creative teaching methods and activities.
Other Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the Principal and Head of Junior campus and perform other duties as requested by the principal.
