Role Overview
This role is responsible for the commercial management of Adelaide Airport's Landside transport infrastructure, with the aim of optimising the airport's return on these assets. This includes (but is not limited to) all transportation modes, with an emphasis on public, staff, and tenant parking facilities. The role will seek to improve operational efficiency and customer service levels of the Landside and Digital business unit to ensure our airport continues to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Lead
pricing, product and service delivery (both online and drive-up) for:
Public, staff and tenant parking services;
Bus, Taxi, Chauffeur and Rideshare services;
Related and emerging transport services, such as Car Share.
Working within the Landside & Digital Business team, deliver innovative strategies that maximise revenue opportunities, streamline business processes, minimise operating costs and improve the customer experience.
Identify and develop new products and services to maximise return on assets including (but not limited to) new car parks, pricing models, and customer services.
Negotiate, manage and administer commercial agreements associated with the aforementioned Landside commercial activities.
Continually review and improve the analysis, monitoring and reporting of Landside Commercial activities.
Actively participate in the development, monitoring, management and reforecasting of relevant Landside budgets.
Team Collaboration
Bring a collaborative, can-do mindset to the team and contribute to the advancement of L&DB workplace culture.
Collaborate with other business units to ensure the optimum customer experience.
Manage, mentor, advise and develop the Landside & Digital Commercial Analyst to ensure the ongoing advancement of individual and team skills and capabilities.
Collaborate with all members of the team to ensure the timely delivery of business as usual and project tasks.
Build partnerships and relationships across the business.
Represent AAL and participate at relevant forums to ensure that Adelaide Airport is at the forefront of relevant contemporary industry thinking and practices.
Establish and manage productive relationships with relevant key stakeholders.

Qualifications
Essential:
Educated to degree level, preferably in a business, marketing or technology related discipline.
Desirable:
Commercial, Legal or Financial related qualifications would be beneficial.
Experience
Essential:
Commercial business experience, particularly in areas such as ecommerce, retail, sales and distribution, revenue/yield management or parking;
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing new products or services in a commercially competitive environment.
Experience in the development of business cases.
Desirable:
Demonstrated implementation of yield principles in a commercial business.
Demonstrated ability to conduct capacity/inventory planning and long-term forecasting of operational requirements.
Demonstrated ability to deliver professional presentations to key internal stakeholders (senior management, CEO and Board) as well as relevant external parties.
