McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are currently seeking a Landscaping Crew Member to join the team in a full-time capacity.About The RoleThis role is responsible for the development of new sites and maintenance of existing grounds at McLean Farms poultry sites. You will be a dynamic self-starter and be passionate about supporting a collaborative working environment, in line with our culture and values.Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To: Regular mowing of all grassed areas.Regular precise spraying of areas to control vegetation.Establishing new plants and maintaining existing garden beds and trees.Establishing and maintaining irrigation systems.Maintaining of equipment and vehicles.Operating machinery if licenced.Other duties as required including pest control and shifting of livestock.To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes: Current valid drivers' licence.HR licence and slasher/tractor experience desirable but not essential.Be prepared to work as part of a team but be able to work autonomously when required.Strong inter-personal skills, able to work co-operatively with internal and external contacts.Willingness to adhere to all health and safety, biosecurity and operational requirements.Must be reliable, punctual, and motivated.To find out more about McLean Farms and what we do, please visit our website:www.mcleanfarms.com.auYou may be asked to work reasonable overtime to meet operational demands if required.If you are looking for your next challenge, please apply with your resume and cover letter.You must not have any birds, pigs or poultry at your place of residence.Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia in order to apply.
