WEM has a rewarding opportunity for a
Landscape Tradesperson
to join the team.
We have a strong portfolio of work with multiple projects underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, Hunter and Illawarra regions. This role requires travel to job sites across the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the set-out and installation of hardscape structures (e.g., footpaths, retaining walls, stone features)
Operate small plant and equipment for various tasks
Prepare seeding requirements and plant trees, shrubs, and hedges
Install drainage pipes and fencing for subdivision projects
Maintain site cleanliness and ensure tools and equipment are properly used and stored
Adhere to safety regulations and statutory requirements (e.g., Local Council, EPA
Liaise with stakeholders and complete timesheets accurately.
Work collaboratively with the team and follow site supervisor instructions
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
Relevant certificate or Diploma in Landscaping or Horticulture or 5 years in a similar role
Demonstrated knowledge of the construction industry and processes
Ability to operate commercial equipment including mowers, diggers, bobcats and other hand machinery
Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude towards teamwork
Ability to use a smartphone to complete daily timesheets
Clear and effective communication
Ability to guide and support Landscape Labourers with day-to-day tasks
Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards and practices
A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
A construction white card
Valid Driver's Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
Remuneration:
Wage aligned with your experience + allowances + regular overtime
