Job description:
As a Landscape Leading Hand you will be essential in managing all facets of structural landscaping , guiding projects from inception to completion.
You will supervise a skilled team of landscapers, ensuring that each project is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
You will work on projects executing tasks ranging from machine operation, decking, fencing (timber, Colorbond, pool fencing), concreting, tiling, paving, retaining walls, garden installation, turfing and irrigation .
What you'll do:
Oversee the planning and execution of landscaping projects.
Coordinate and manage daily activities of the landscaping team.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices on site.
Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Train and mentor team members on landscaping techniques and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding project progress.
Manage equipment and materials, ensuring they are used efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
What you'll need:
3+ year's experience in the landscape construction industry.
Experience in machine operation, decking, fencing (timber, Colorbond, pool fencing), concreting, tiling, paving, retaining walls, garden installation, turfing and irrigation.
Construction Industry Induction (White card).
Certificate III in Landscape Construction highly regarded.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Valid driver's license and readiness to travel, as our sites are spread throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas.
What is being offered:
Salary: $85-100K + Superannuation.
Full time position with holiday pay and sick pay.
