Landscape Gardener

Doncaster Concrete Constructions Pty Ltd, Nunawading 3131 Job Description We are looking for an experienced gardener for a full time position to join our team.
This will include:
Maintaining and managing a range of gardens using landscaping skills;Operation and minor maintenance of horticultural plant and equipment;Fertilizing lawns and gardens;Work cooperatively with team members and contractors; andWorking to the highest levels of safety and presentation.Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated, friendly, approachable, flexible and hardworking.  You must be able to work on your own if required. You will be a team player who has sound horticultural knowledge and skills.
Requirements We are looking for a highly motivated, friendly and flexible approach as well as a:
Certificate III in Horticulture (Gardens) or other horticultural field, plus 2 years experience or3 Years experience in landscaping, garden maintenance and greass cutting plant and equipment;Experienced in hedging and clipping of plants;Excellent plant identification skills and knowledge of using plants successfully in various horticultural settings;Weed identification skills and experience managing them in landscapin;A thirst for horticultural knowledge and desire to improve species diversity in gardens; Commitment to occupational health and safety and quality control process;Farm Chemical User Course - with ACUP prferable;Current Victorian manual drivers' licence;Medium Rigid Truck licence or willingness to obtain within 3 months of commencement; andTraffic management accreditation preferable.How to apply: Please email your resume to: [email protected] Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 plus Superannuation
