Job Description:
As a Landscape Gardener at Hive Property Solutions, you will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining landscape projects. Your role will involve working on various landscaping tasks including planting, hardscaping, and garden design. You will collaborate closely with our property management team to ensure that each project meets our high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Implement landscape designs by planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape elements like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, pruning, mowing , whipper Snipping, blowing down hard surfaces , pressure washing and watering to keep landscapes looking their best.
- Project Management: Oversee the progress of landscape projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert advice and recommendations.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Other tasks advised by you manager
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a landscape gardener or in a similar landscaping role.
- Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plant species, and hardscaping techniques.
- Proficiency in using landscaping tools and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in landscaping or horticulture are advantageous.
- Federal Police check
