THE COMPANYOur client is a landscape design, construction and maintenance business servicing a broad range of clients across the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. They are experiencing a growth phase and are seeking a Landscape Designer and Landscape Architect to join their established team.THE ROLEWe are seeking an accredited Landscape Architect with AVIA certification to manage the entire design and implementation process. You will work primarily on commercial projects, with some residential work, ensuring designs are both creative and buildable. We are looking for someone with a passion for creating landscapes that inspire, who values adding creativity to each project, and enjoys collaborating with clients to bring their visions to life.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLead client consultations and develop creative landscape solutions.Prepare fee proposals and manage client relationships from concept through to construction.Work on a mix of commercial and residential landscape projects, with a focus on high-quality, buildable designs.Attend client meetings, fostering collaborative relationships and offering innovative ideas to add value to each project.Oversee project documentation and ensure compliance with Council requirements and other regulations.Manage design teams, supervise junior staff, and delegate responsibilities effectively.Work closely with the construction team to ensure designs are built to specification.Provide horticultural expertise, particularly with sub-tropical and native plants in South East Queensland.Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate sustainable practices where applicable.Present design concepts and updates to clients, contractors, and internal teams.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex design challenges.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage plant procurement for construction projects.REQUIREMENTSAccreditation with AVIA is essential.Bachelor's degree or higher in Landscape Architecture or a related field.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on commercial projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and Australian Building Codes.Excellent horticultural knowledge, particularly in South East Queensland's plant species.Proven ability to deliver high-quality, creative designs that meet both client needs and buildability standards.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present confidently to clients and stakeholders.A passion for landscape architecture, with a focus on both the design and construction processes.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to solve problems under time pressure.If you are a creative and passionate Landscape Architect who thrives on bringing designs to life and enjoys working closely with clients, we want to hear from you!#J-18808-Ljbffr
