This is a full-time position reporting to the Coordinator Engineering Development, and working alongside a remarkable team of like-minded professionals.
Your primary focus will be to provide specialist landscape and architectural planning as well as design, drafting and documentation on sustainable urban enhancement projects.
This includes but is not limited to, streetscape improvement schemes, public open space development, sub-divisional land development and forward planning.
The role will also provide leadership and qualified professional advice on project and design management of landscape, conservation areas, public open space and associated assets within the City of Kwinana.

What You'll Need To make an impact as our new Landscape Architect, you will need: Qualification in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
Extensive experience in landscape design projects/principles and delivery in producing quality landscape designs.
Extensive experience in generating cost estimates for design projects and subsequent maintenance requirements.
Highly developed Project Management and Landscape Architectural skills.
Well-developed spatial design appreciation and related computer competency in design and graphics software packages.
Knowledge of native plants and their application to create sustainable and waterwise landscaping.
Knowledge and understanding of Standards, Australian Codes, Local Government statutory requirements for landscape/urban enhancement projects.
Highly developed negotiation/problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work within a team environment.
Ability to provide the highest quality of customer service.
Possession of a Driver's Licence.
