The Role We are seeking an experienced Lands Officer to join our group of dedicated professionals in the Transport Portfolio Land and Property Service (TPLPS) Team located in Perth on Victoria Avenue.
TPLPS provides Portfolio-wide Land and Leasing services to Main Roads, METRONET, the Department of Transport, and the Public Transport Authority (PTA). The team is a consolidation of the Transport portfolio's land administration and property management functions and incorporates staff from:
Former Main Roads Property Management BranchDepartment of Transport Accommodation & Building ServicesDepartment of Transport Maritime Services – Property Services TeamPTA's Property and Land Services Branch.In this role, you will be managing low risk land related projects associated with the Public Transport Authority's (PTA) needs and priorities, including the acquisition and disposal of land. Additionally, the role will also provide advice on land and property matters and assists with the administration of land on behalf of the PTA.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Sound knowledge and considerable experience of land administration processes and procedures, both Crown and Freehold, including disposal and acquisition of railway land.Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex legislation.Well developed interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.Well developed research, conceptual, analytical and problem solving ability.Well developed organisational skills.Further Information Please refer to the attached Job Description Form (JDF) for full details about the position, including any special requirements relevant to appointment.
