About the Role We are looking for a Project Manager (Trades) to join our Services Division. This role is comparable to a Fit-Out Project Manager but offers the potential to grow beyond fit-out trades.
As a Project Manager (Trades), you'll be responsible for managing and delivering specific construction projects. You'll ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. Initially, your focus will be on coordinating trades such as gyprock, carpentry, and painting, ensuring seamless integration and efficient delivery.
What We're Looking For This role is ideal for someone ready to step up from their current position as a Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Project Manager for smaller projects. It's an opportunity to take on greater responsibilities behind the scenes.
Coordinating trades. Preparing and managing project programs. Overseeing quality management plans and reviewing QA documents/ITPs. Maintaining and delivering programs on schedule. Preferred Experience & Qualifications Degree in Construction Management (or equivalent). 5+ years of project management or equivalent experience in construction. Proficiency in construction planning software (preferably MS Project). Extensive knowledge of Sydney's construction market, subcontractors, building codes, and standards. Able to speak Mandarin preferred but not essential. Key Leadership & Personal Qualities Leads with integrity, professionalism, and by example. Proactive, highly organised, and detail-focused. Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution skills. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. A big-picture thinker with an unwavering commitment to quality.
