Green Recruitment are partnered with a leading renewables developer and investor in their search for a skilled Land Manager with a focus on property acquisition to drive their renewable energy projects by negotiating land agreements for wind, solar, and other renewable generation developments. This role requires in-depth knowledge of real estate principles, property law, and lease agreements, as well as expertise in option terms and easement negotiation. You will play a critical role in securing strategic property assets, ensuring they meet project requirements and align with company objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesLandowner Engagement and Property Negotiation: Act as the main liaison with property owners, building strong relationships to facilitate open and effective negotiations. Negotiate lease agreements, option terms, right-of-way access, and easements tailored to renewable energy projects.Property Contract Management: Draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring terms are clear, enforceable, and aligned with project goals. Manage renewals, amendments, and property compliance requirements throughout the lifecycle of agreements.Due Diligence & Title Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence on properties under consideration. This includes verifying title information, ownership history, and encumbrances to ensure properties meet all necessary legal and project criteria.Property Market Analysis & Site Assessment: Evaluate property values, zoning regulations, and market conditions. Work with legal and technical teams to assess land characteristics and environmental suitability for renewable energy development.Permitting & Regulatory Compliance: Support the permitting process by working with local, state, and federal agencies to secure necessary property rights and comply with regulatory requirements.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal project managers, legal teams, environmental consultants, and external partners to ensure smooth acquisition and compliance for project sites.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: At least 3 years of experience in property management, land acquisition, or real estate, preferably within the renewable energy or infrastructure industries.Property Knowledge: Deep understanding of property rights, lease agreements, easement rights, and title analysis. Familiarity with property-specific regulations and land use laws is essential.Negotiation & Relationship Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate property agreements and foster productive relationships with landowners, maintaining high standards of integrity and transparency.Analytical Proficiency: Ability to analyze zoning laws, property titles, and market conditions to drive informed decisions about property acquisition strategies.Technical & Legal Expertise: Proficiency with GIS mapping tools, property databases, CRM systems, and relevant Microsoft Office applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
