Project Land & Property Advisor (Infill & Leasing) This role will be supporting strategic land and property planning, assessment and acquisition, including negotiations, due diligence and legal access to deliver decarbonization of our energy systems.
This role supports our strategy by working to develop and execute land and property transactions focused on infill sites.
This is a 3-year maximum term contract.
Your new role will: • Work with projects and cross business stakeholders to identify and assess infill capacity for solar and battery solutions in the form of land and property proposed transactions.
• Execute land and property activity planning to commit to assessment, evaluation and acquisition steps.
• Drive land and property access pathway for short listed sites, mapping interdisciplinary activities such as communications, engagement, consultancy work and prepare for execution with specialist resources.
• Review and ensure accurate land and property related change requests are reflected in project activities.
• Maintain accurate records of land and property assessment, communications and transactions.
• Support management in growing relationships with government agencies and key stakeholders including local government to support the delivery of land and property access • Develop property frameworks, transactions templates and negotiation guides in a sustainable way to support large scale access to multiple smaller infill sites • Identify business needs and develop requirements for proper management of high-volume infill sites including appropriate database, monitoring and management requirements You will preferably have: • Tertiary qualifications with a focus on property transactions primarily in the freehold and leasing space desirable.
• Experience working on projects with strong understanding of dependencies and commitment to project objectives.
• Commercial land experience including residential and commercial leasing • Land access experience across Crown land, freehold and leasing.
• Native Title understanding.
