Full-time TemporaryDetails: Licensing and Compliance (L&C) is seeking highly motivated people to join the Public Land Use team. L&C comprises three teams: Land Use Licensing, Compliance, and Investigations.
The position is responsible for approving land use permits for the temporary use of public unleased land in the Territory, administered under the 'Public Unleased Land Act 2013' and 'Planning Act 2023'. The role includes supervising, managing, and motivating a team, and providing appropriate support and guidance.
Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Mandatory: Permanent Resident of Australia.Driver's licence Class 'C' or higher is essential.This position requires a pre-employment medical check.Current or able to obtain within 12 months of employment, a Working with Vulnerable People Registration.Licensing, permitting, and/or regulatory knowledge within public land use environments.General knowledge of TCCS and Park & Conservations estate managed land.Operational knowledge of office-based information technology.How to Apply: Applicants should submit a two-page response addressing the requirements in the "What You Require" section of the Position Description, a current curriculum vitae, and contact details of two referees.
