We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Land Access and Approvals Advisor to join our Power and Development team in Perth on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Planning & Environment Manager, you will provide key inputs and advice into the development of large-scale renewable energy and power transmission projects in the Pilbara.
You will assess strategies and feasibility for land access options and provide guidance on land access, tenure, planning and environmental approval requirements for new projects including wind, solar, batteries and transmission lines.
Key Responsibilities Building relationships with key stakeholders, prepare tenure applications and negotiate land access agreements, and assist the business to secure all approvals required for new projects.
Supporting a culture of Zero Harm and environmental responsibility Developing projects to achieve customer and corporate objectives Supporting the team during ideation, pre-feasibility and feasibility study phases for prospective development projects Developing power infrastructure projects by managing aspects of the land access and approvals workstream for key projects Understanding and ensuring projects comply with regulatory, governance and community requirements About You A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline Project development or project management experience on infrastructure projects from $10m to $100m+ Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with capacity to influence and negotiate Experience in a similar role in energy, mining or infrastructure projects The ability and willingness to travel to the Pilbara, including remote areas Working at APA At APA we're committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
